ERIKA EDISON

Erika Edison is a dance and musical theatre professional whose career spans over a decade and has taken her to 36 US states, 8 countries, and 3 continents as a performer, teacher, adjudicator, educator, and studio director. Originally from Reading, PA, she launched her career in New York City at 19, completing the Professional Semester at Broadway Dance Center and performing internationally in “Legally Blonde: The Musical” (Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore, and more). She has taught on faculty at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.

Erika has been adjudicating dance competitions and pageants for 10 years. She’s judged for over 10 major national competition/ convention companies and pageants. she is a proud member of Impact Dance Adjudicators. additionally, she has traveled internationally as a representative for the dance theatre program at the American musical and dramatic academy - auditioning and recruiting students to attend the conservatory. she’s awarded millions of dollars in scholarships to students to pursue their dreams of their own in New York City!

From 2021 until its closing in 2025, Erika spent four years leading her family’s award-winning dance studio: The Dance Gallery in Reading, PA - an ADCC Studio of Excellence. Her students have received countless overall high scores, technique awards, and titles, and she’s trained dancers who have been accepted to programs including the Joffrey Ballet School, the Rock School, the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and the School of Philadelphia Ballet.

Erika is currently based in Philadelphia. in addition to her dance career, she is a group fitness instructor - specializing in barre, hit and dance cardio. She teaches at 305 fitness and city fitness in Philly.

In May 2025, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in writing.
